We also collaborate with several organizations internationally to strengthen leadership and organizing capacities of different campaigns, causes, and organizations across the globe.
Leading Change Network Organizing Workshop with The Equity Initiative, Thailand
In December 2023, in partnership with Leading Change Network and The Equity Initiative, we facilitated and coached at a 4 day training on community organizing in Bangkok, Thailand. 25 leaders in Health Equity from 11 South East Asian countries participated in the workshop. In post-workshop evaluation, participants shared feeling 'powerful' and 'strategic' in their own work.
Health Equity Initiative Fellows, Cambodia
In October 2022, CSIDC provided teaching support to a Leading Change Network led "Introduction to Organizing and Action" training in Cambodia. The training had 20+ Health Equity Initiative fellows from the CMB Foundation working with the vision to move health beyond medicine and strenghten social justice in health.
Western Australian civil society, Perth
As part of an ongoing three stage project, CSIDC coordinated a “Leadership, Organizing, and Action” training in December 2022. It was held in partnership with the Unity Training Services and Australian Fabians. The training had 20 participants from the network of Western Australian Unions and civil society. The next two phases aim to strengthen the coaching capacity of 9 participants, and lead another organizing training with Australian civil society.
