GENDER JUST TRANSITION COLLECTIVE

This work stream embeds a gender lens into Sindh’s just energy transition by engaging policymakers and organizing women and communities living in energy poverty including in the shadows of large wind and solar projects. We connect lived realities into policy conversations and nurture a women-led alliance to advocate with the Sindh Government. We have trained more than 40 community members and local activists - with women making up over half, in leadership, organising, and the energy governance. and take pride in policy wins and seeing communities lead.

LEADERSHIP FOR
JUST FUTURES

This program strengthens leadership and strategic capacity across social-change spaces by supporting emerging leaders, with a focus on minoritized genders. Using decolonial feminist praxis, we nurture leadership skills and peer networks, for the growth of the energy transition ecosystem in Pakistan. We take pride in seeing the leaders we support grow, experiment with adaptive approaches, and contribute to the resilience and vibrancy of their ecosystems. In just 2025, we trained over 65 leaders in adaptive leadership and strategic thinking.

We partner with major network-building organisations to sharpen their strategy and to train the wider networks they convene. To date, we have trained hundreds of leaders across 12+ countries through strategy retreats, leadership programmes, and organizing trainings, to help institutions and their partners build stronger campaigns, clearer strategy, and more resilient ecosystems.

MOVEMENT AND SOLIDARITY BUILDING

In this expanding program, we create politically grounded and creative spaces where activists, feminists, and community leaders reflect, reimagine, and rebuild together. Our aim is to elevate indigenous wisdom and reshape how power and solidarity are experienced in Pakistan and the region. Through activist-led learning spaces and regional collaborations, we amplify local insights, strengthen cross-movement connections, and fuel the transformative solidarity needed to sustain ecosystems of resistance and care.
