WHO WE ARE
The Center for Social Innovation in Developing Countries (CSIDC) is a
women-led leadership institute in Pakistan dedicated to unleashing leadership and
nurturing ecosystems for systemic transformation with a particular focus on gender and climate justice. We equip social justice leaders with leadership skills, strategies, and collaborative spaces in Pakistan, across Asia-Pacific and beyond by bringing global best practices, primarily Harvard’s leadership pedagogy, into dialogue with the lived realities of frontline communities.
From nurturing alliances of indigenous communities in Pakistan to supporting the emerging regional feminist conversations in the region, CSIDC helps weave ecosystems with care and transformative solidarity that enable collective power.
WHAT WE DO
Over the last eight years, CSIDC has become a regional leadership institute committed to unleash leadership and nurture ecosystems for systemic transformation.
We create learning spaces that strengthen the leadership of both individuals and organizations working for social good, building strategic clarity, presence, and adaptive thinking. CSIDC engages in key discourses through a decolonial, feminist praxis.

CSIDC PARTNERS
We work as a hybrid civil society organization.
As a feminist organization, while our projects are primarily grant-funded, working in a volatile context requires us to intentionally diversify our funding streams. This is not about profit but it is a feminist commitment to keeping our organization and our people safe, resourced, and able to serve the movements with integrity at all times.
Impact is individual but transformation is a collective work.
CSIDC has grown its work with a value-oriented support of some amazing organizations like:
